Elegant Winter Wedding at The Norland Historic Estates

Today, I feel like celebrating a few things. One, I had the most amazing meeting with a bride and groom yesterday, and two, Charity and David’s wedding gallery is live!!

Charity and David are seriously one of the sweetest couples you’ll ever meet. If you didn’t see their engagement pictures, you need to! Check out their engagement session here.

Charity and David’s courtship was beautiful and so inspiring. They held hands for the first time as husband and wife and saved their first kiss for their wedding day. Their story is such a beautiful picture of how God works things together for good. These two are the kindest people, and their story is something for the books.

It was such an honor to be a part of their beautiful wedding. Everything was so absolutely pure and elegant! The Norland Historic Estate is so incredible! I could photograph there every day and not tire of it. For real, I had to make sure my chin wasn’t dragging on the floor the whole time because it was all so pretty! Haha, but in all seriousness, I couldn’t have imagined a better way to start this year.

Charity and David’s wedding was such an answered prayer. The day started super windy. I’m talking a good ol’ fashioned Chinook wind (not for the faint of heart) that had my hair disheveled before I ever entered the bride’s getting ready room. I was so disappointed at first, but then prayed that God would be in control and if that meant we didn’t get all the beautiful pictures outside at the estate, then there would be other ways. Well, I can’t ever stop smiling when I think about how He answered. We got to the venue and the wind died down. It started snowing (The bride had prayed for that) and moments later, the sun came out just long enough to give us the most delicious, beautiful back-lit pictures. I mean there wasn’t anything missing! And if that wasn’t enough already, the owner of the Estate was so kind and let us photograph in the mansion because he wanted to make sure because of the crazy weather we would have good photo opportunities. How cool is that!?!? God is so good!

I could go on and on, but we’re here for their pictures. Hahah

Charity and David, thank you for putting your trust in us. Thank you for every kind word. You are such a blessing to everyone around you. You are both beautiful inside and out, and I hope you enjoy seeing yourselves through our lens. May God bless your marriage and thank you for being such an example of Jesus to those around you. Thank you again for the honor of celebrating with you. I’m already looking forward to having you in front of my lens again!
