This week I shared the blog post from Eva and Issak’s engagement session and I could not be more THRILLED to share their wedding day!! What a dream winter wedding it was! Wednesday morning, their wedding day, I looked out of the window to find snow on the ground which was an answer to prayer! I just knew that the Lord was smiling on this day.
Eva and Issak have spent just as much time preparing for their marriage as they did preparing for their wedding day. They love the Lord with all their hearts, and I just know they will do amazing things together. They love each other in such a pure way. You should have seen the joy in their eyes whenever they looked at each other. Issak could not take his eyes off his beautiful bride! During the speeches at the reception, I heard over and over how blessed people were to know these two, and how perfect they were for each other.
Before the wedding, Eva had shared a story with me about how she knew that Issak liked her, but she didn’t feel the same way. One day, during a basketball game, she was so adamant that she was not going to pay attention to him that she missed the ball that Issak threw and it hit her face!! I love that story!! She did eventually agree to the relationship and here we are. 🙂 I have to agree with everyone else, they are such a lovely couple and are just made for each other!
When she was a young girl, Eva lost both of her parents and her brother in a car accident. This is something no little child should ever have to go through, but seeing her now, she is such an example of God’s grace carrying her through. It was bittersweet and so beautiful that they were able to visit the grave after the wedding yet.
Eva and Issak, thank you so much for the honor of photographing your beautiful day. I wish you a life filled with blessings as you continue to pursue Jesus together. May your marriage be filled with God’s richest blessings!
