It’s been almost seven years since we moved to Alberta. At the time I was just planning on helping Mom move here and I was going to go back, but it became home. Among other things I’ve learned, I can confidently say I’ve experienced more types of weather here than in the fifteen plus years in Ontario. One of them, while not weather itself, but graciously brought to us by our famous winds is the smoke from wildfires. The first summer it was so smoky here, I really thought this was it. The world was about to end. There was a sadness hanging over us, and I couldn’t understand how everyone stayed so calm! While I still would not ever wish for it, I have since learned to embrace those smoky days. The light is vastly different, so it makes for some unique photo shoots. At Elisa & Jason’s engagement session it was especially smoky, but we had a great time! These two are just amazing wherever they are. 🙂
I’d love to share all of the pictures from their engagement session, and there are many. (Hi I’m Lisa and I’m an overshooter.) But here are some highlights.
Elisa & Jason, you are such a joy to be around. I can’t wait to see you on your wedding day!
