I am so excited to finally share this beautiful couple’s winter wedding today!! 2022 has been a busy year so far, and I decided earlier this year to let blogging take a backseat for a while, so I’m still not done sharing winter and spring weddings. Now, summer is in full swing, my AC can hardly keep the house cool. (I confess to having had my fair share of black ice coffees since McDonald’s announced their 2022 one-dollar summer drinks.) We’ve got one successful camping trip under our belts and are preparing for another one today! I thought I’d take a quick break from summer and reminisce about the beautiful winter weddings for a bit. Lisa & Jake’s wedding was everything I would dream of in a winter wedding. It was not too cold, (although they’d tell you they almost froze without their coats) there was no wind, and love was in the air.
I’m a sucker for a good love story. That is one of the many reasons why I can’t give up shooting weddings. It is just such an honor to be able to document such a memorable season for couples. Lisa & Jake’s wedding was no exception. While I think that every couple’s story is absolutely beautiful and heartwarming, it’s the family relationships that always get me so hard! As I was getting to know Lisa & Jake before the wedding, she mentioned on several occasions how close she was with her sisters. We were not there long before I could see what she had meant. They truly were best friends, and for real, the nicest people you’ll ever meet!
Lisa & Jake, thank you so much for having us celebrate with you. You are such a blessing to everyone around you, and I pray that God will bless you richly in your marriage.
Now here are only some of my favorite photos from your wedding day.
