In all my time as a photographer, I can’t tell you how often I hear people say that they don’t know how to pose, or that they are uncomfortable in front of the camera. Then when they see themselves on the back of the camera, they exclaim, “I can’t believe I look that good!” THAT is when I know I’ve done my job! I work hard at getting to know my clients before their session, so that later their pictures will reflect who they are. I’m never worried when someone tells me they don’t feel comfortable doing this, because with the right guidance, anyone can look natural in photos! 🙂  

Today’s post features this sweet couple. Lisa and Poncho are just complete naturals in front of the camera. Their whole engagement session felt a lot more like friends going for a walk and chatting than being on the job. (hah) They’re so relaxed and comfortable around each other that I basically just made sure to capture their interactions. The whole evening was just perfect! I’m so happy for these two, and I cannot wait to see them on their wedding day!
