If there’s something I’ve learned this year, it is that I just absolutely LOVE shooting in the Rockie Mountains! This Rockie Mountain portrait session was the absolute perfect way to come out of quarantine this spring. Oh, what a breath of fresh air (quite literally because… mountain air…) it was to be out and taking pictures again. It was SO much fun, and I still look back to this and wish to go back. Annie is quite the human being ya know. 🙂 

I met Annie about fifteen years ago in Ontario. (Yikes that does not feel that long!) We went to the same church and attended the same youth group. I have a particular memory of going to a wedding in Aylmer with her, (a two-hour drive from our area) and I laughed till it hurt!! She is the kind of person to light up a room with her presence. Our lives went in different directions since that trip, but I was super excited when Annie asked me to meet her in the mountains for this photoshoot. It was a blast to reconnect again and to take these pictures.
