According to The Wedding Report 2022 will be the busiest year for weddings in the US since 1984. I don’t know what the numbers are in Canada, but I do notice that this year is definitely busier than I’ve ever been. I am always honored to be considered for any couple’s big day. Lisa and Jake’s engagement session kickstarted the season as their wedding is coming up in a few weeks.

All of my wedding collections include a free engagement session. This is because I love to get to know the couple before their wedding day. This also gives them a chance to get to know me more as the wedding day timeline rarely allows for lots of chit chat between the couple and myself. Plus, who wants to spend a lot of time talking to the photographer when all their friends are there to celebrate? 😉 I cannot stress enough the importance of the engagement session for this reason! And I have never heard anyone regret having the extra photos of a celebration of their love. 

Lisa and Jake, it was so nice to get to know you both and as I’m typing this, I’ve already had the honor of photographing your beautiful wedding. Your love for each other and for the Lord was an inspiration to your guests and to myself. I walked away from your wedding feeling like I made so many new friends.
