Today is the longest day of the year, the first day of summer . The year 2022 is half over! How!? This happens to me every year. I can’t believe it goes by so fast. Time truly is so fleeting. Every year I tell myself I’ll keep up with sharing galleries sooner, (here we are finally sharing January) I’ll get all the things done. Then poof, there goes half a year, and a to do list longer than when I started. As I reflect on 2022 so far, however, it’s been really good. It’s been a year of healing. Both physically and spiritually. So far it’s been a year of reevaluating our life, work, what do I want to invest more time and energy in and what am I okay to let go? I’ve learned to manage expectations. It’s okay if they don’t talk to me anymore. It’s okay if my business moves forward at a slower pace. It’s okay to pause and breathe! That is what I’m doing today. This month has been incredibly full and I’ve loved it, but today I pause, and…breathe for a second. Today I am so excited to share this winter engagement shoot with you! Lena and Abram are people after my own heart! They are so incredibly kind and generous. They’re one of the many reasons I am so so thankful to be able to do this. 

Lena & Abram, I am so looking forward to seeing you again on your wedding day. After getting to know you both more, I know it’s going to be a Jesus centered wedding and I’m definitely packing my Kleenex because I know it’ll be so sweet. Thank you for trusting me to document this season of your lives.
