Well, it has been a hot minute! 2022 completely took me by surprise and I could again not keep up with blog posts as a one-woman business if I was supposed to have any sort of life outside of work.

 

I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again… I love, love that I get to capture your memories! I am so grateful for this job! I do not take for granted that I get to do this! If you know me, you know that I pour my heart and soul into giving you the best experience possible. And while I give my heart and soul, and usually every ounce of energy for this job, I’ve realized that I have to occasionally take a step back and make my own memories, and be with my people who have my back no matter what!

 

A question I have asked myself often lately is, “What will have eternal value?” “The people I give my ALL to, are they the ones that will be standing beside my deathbed in my final hours?” So while I will not stop doing everything in my power to give my wonderful clients the best experience possible, my perspective has shifted. I know that in the end, it’s the people closest to me that will stay by my side, so why am I not spending more time with them now? We just recently saw again, how very fleeting life is, so let this be a reminder to you as well, make memories with the people you love. 

 

Now that I have poured out my heart to you, let me get on with the wedding of the day! Remember that fun engagement session earlier? Well, I’m so excited to finally share that sweet couples wedding day!  Tina and Jacob’s wedding fell on such a beautiful spring day. No wind, sun shining through the clouds, lovely temperatures, the perfect weather for a wedding!

 

Tina looked like the queen herself in her stunning, long, flowing dress! I was absolutely obsessed with those long, flowy sleeves. She looked absolutely radiant! 

 

I love a wedding that tells the story of the couple. And Tina and Jacob’s wedding was no exception! From the colors they chose to the book theme at the reception, this wedding was reflecting the bride and groom.

 

And now, as wild as it is that it’s been a whole year since then, I look back to this day fondly, and I pray that it will only be getting better and better. Happy one-year anniversary  Tina and Jacob! Thank you again so much for having us celebrate with you on your beautiful day!
