Dear friends, I am so excited to share this summer country wedding with you today! This was another covid wedding. Many friends didn’t get to attend due to our current situation, but let me tell you, the wedding was filled with all the love! Agatha & Corny are definitely the laid back couple who would refuse to let anything get in the way of the happiness of their big day, and that’s what made working with them so wonderful!

My heart has gone out to all the 2020 couples so much already. They’ve had to deal with many changes during their planning that no bride and groom would choose to deal with. One day the regulations were one thing and the next day it was different, but I truly do get to work with the most amazing couples. Each one has handled the changes so gracefully, and refused to let it steal the joy of their big day, and Agatha & Corny are definitely no exception.

Back in December, (does that feel like ages ago to anyone else?) we got to hang out for their engagement photos. That day was super cold, so the weather for their wedding day was the perfect opposite. It was quite possibly the brightest, sunniest, warmest day of summer. (Even our famous Alberta winds took a break for the day. haha) The wedding was a country theme, so imagine how appropriate it was that the horses stepped in for a few shots! Yep, my heart did a little happy dance. 🙂

Agatha and Corny, thank you for the honor of capturing your beautiful day. I know your wedding wasn’t exactly what you imagined when you got engaged, but it was so perfect and beautiful! I have been blessed by watching you deal with some of these challenges, and I loved seeing you make God the center of your marriage. May God continue to bless you richly!
