I can’t imagine a better afternoon than photographing a couple who is in love and excited about their upcoming wedding day. Make that a Waterton Engagement Session, and we call it a perfect afternoon. I loved that Lena and Abe decided to go to the mountains to take their engagement photos! All engagement sessions are special at any location because I am a people-centered photographer, but when a place has meaning to the couple, that makes it super special.
On the day of this session, it was so windy that we didn’t actually get to go to all the places we’d hoped to go to. (I for real almost fell over because it was so windy in the one place, I couldn’t keep Lena & Abe there because they would for real have blown away. haha) In the end, I wasn’t too sad about the places we missed though since we found a beautiful, calm place with a few of the mountains and the most delicious golden light you ever did see!
Also…can we just pause a moment and talk about how classy these two look though?? I absolutely love the color of Lena’s dress, and Abe just complimented her so well with his outfit! #gorgeouscouple!
One of the reasons I absolutely LOVE engagement sessions is, it allows us the opportunity to get to know each other and for me to learn how I can best serve them on their wedding day.
Lena & Abe, I’ve enjoyed getting to know you both. Lena, I love how honest and down to earth you are. You’re the kind of person everyone needs in their corner! Thank you for choosing me to be a part of this beautiful season of your life. I will always look back fondly to this engagement session and I am SO excited to capture your wedding day already!
