When I first had the privilege of getting to know Anna and Abe at their engagement session, I knew their wedding was going to be amazing!! They had prayed and prepared and they waited for this day eagerly for quite some time, and when the day finally did arrive, it couldn’t have been any more perfect! Bright, clear skies in the gorgeous Alberta Badlands graced the skies on this afternoon of their wedding. There was the occasional soft breeze and I couldn’t help but think that this was a sign of many prayers answered.
From the smallest details to her absolutely gorgeous dress (that Anna’s mom made!!) to their long awaited I-do’s, everything was a symbol of their love for each other. Their story is such a beautiful example of God working everything in His time. You could see them smiling at each other during the whole ceremony. At last the preacher said, “You may now kiss the bride!” 🙂
They braided the three cords together for their unity ceremony. This will always be their symbol that God is woven into the center of their marriage. “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12
Anna and Abe, I can’t begin to express how much it means to me that you trusted us to photograph these most precious memories. Your day was absolutely perfect! Your bridal party by your side were some of the coolest people. Every detail was just lovely, and I pray that you will continue to have a wonderful marriage!
May God continue to bless you both and make you a blessing to all the people you meet.
I look forward to having you in front of the lens in the future!!
